Dual Function Candle Holder

Inspired by industrial architecture and my love for repeating patterns, the dual function candle holder is made to hold both a pillar candle of 6mm in diameter and a tea light either a traditional or a larger maxi tealight.

The flexible piece provides different lighting depending on the mood and occasion. The pillar candle is held in a sunken bowl and casts a warm glow over its whole surroundings, providing the perfect atmosphere for a candle-lit dinner for two. For a cosier ambience the piece is reversed and a tealight is nestled inside the bezel ring the shadows creating an intricate pattern on the surface it rests on and its surroundings.
